Vote . . . and Wait



I really don't have much to add. The Democratic GOTV is incredibly impressive. I've been door-knocked twice this morning to make sure I voted, once by some party volunteers, and just now by some ACT volunteers.

Cautious optimism prevails. I'm worried about Ohio, but confident about Florida. Without Ohio, Kerry wins in 290's, I think. With Ohio, he heads up to 311 plus any bonus pickups, like WV or AR.

But we shall see tonight.

UPDATE - 6 pm Central -- I got a GOTV phone call this afternoon from an environmental organization. That's three GOTV contacts today for me. I don't remember any GOTV election day contacts in the past. I have friends doing GOTV throughout the city, and they're organized down to the block level.

Wow.
